This kit is the ultimate in reliable emitter and glasses technology, with a range of up to 100 meters and simultaneous support for up to 1000 glasses that virtually guarantees they will work in your home theater, even in situations where infra-red (IR) glasses or TI's DLP Link glasses will not work. The ESG6000 shutter glasses synchronize to the display using 3D-RF, a synchronization method that provides the ultimate in brightness control and eliminates the need for a carefully controlled environment to get everything working. The glasses are designed for ease of use and simple maintenance, are rechargeable through USB, have a folding design for compact storage, and have a cleanup-ready exterior safe for use with sanitizing wipes. The Starter Kit also contains one RF-3D Emitter. The RF-3D Emitter can be attached to any VESA 1997.11 standard "3D Glasses Emitter" or "3D SYNC OUT" Port. The RF-3D Emitter included in this Starter Kit is optimized for out-of-the-box performance with EStar, 3D DLP, and other projectors with the standard 3D SYNC OUT connector. The emitter will work with other projectors, HDTVs, monitors and GPU cards that use the standard VESA 1997.11 port, a three-pin mini DIN port ("PS2 keyboard connector size / SVideo Size") that is usually labeled "3D SYNC" or "3D SYNC OUT (5V)". An example of this VESA jack is shown in the picture. If needed, emitter performance with these devices can be tuned using the joystick on the emitter or by connecting it to a PC and using the performance utility on the EStar America website. This 3D-RF system is fully interoperable with any other brand RF-3D Emitter incorporating Bit Cauldron BC100 emitter technology or Bit Cauldron BC5000/6000 RF-3D glasses technology, including the MonsterVisionTM MAX 3D system.
